Wow!! I’m taking part in my FIRST EVER Blog Hop, woop!! I’ve read a few, but never took part, so here goes…
We’re being well behaved and taking it in turns to design a sketch each, then we’re all squirreling away to our craft desks to come up with some AWESOME projects to share with you on alternate Saturdays! (The clue was in the title wasn’t it? D’oh!)
The gorgeous Sam from Sam’s Crafty Things has set up this weeks sketch to get us started… So here goes!
My first reaction was “NNNooooo!!!! I don’t own ANYTHING with circles!” quickly followed by “How is that even possible?!” Then I calmed down a bit and came up with this…
Ta da! I ‘created’ a circle, sort of… yay!
Well, this is a super easy little project using the new Square Pillow Box die… and because there’s a birthday coming up in the family I decided to make this as a little treat for the birthday girl!
It was quite an easy make, so here’s how;
Die cut the box from Soft Sky cardstock, and assemble it with Fast Fuse.
Build the flower embellishment using the Pansy Punch in Melon Mambo, and Silver Glimmer paper; Petite Petals in Melon Mambo; and a flower from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack in Silver Glimmer paper… Attach together alternating the colours, and top it off with a Melon Mambo Candy Dot 🙂
Stamp ‘Happy’ and ‘Birthday’ from Crazy About You in Melon Mambo onto Whisper White, and punch out with the Washi Label Punch.
Attach all of the embellishments onto the front of the pillow box with Glue Dots and finish off with Melon Mambo, Soft Sky Candy Dots and a Rhinestone!
Fill with chocolate, and it’s done! (I did say it was a birthday treat 😉 )
Well, Hope you like 🙂
Enjoy the rest of the Hop, and I will see you soon!
Debs xoxo
