Business Card Holder

P1010229

Wow! This is a quick post!

Earlier today I went to a networking event run by a friend of mine.  Before I went I shared these quick phone snaps of some business card holders that I’d made to take with me over on my Facebook page, and in a couple of groups that I’m in. And I honestly wasn’t expecting such a FANTASTIC response from everyone who saw them!  I’m still a little overwhelmed a few hours later… SO… Here’s the post I promised of how to make them 🙂

You will need:

Cardstock measuring 3 3/4 x 7 inches – I used Old Olive, and Calypso Coral.
Pretty Petals DSP – Front panel measures 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches… or whichever gorgeous Designer Series Paper you fancy 😉
2 DSP Side Panels measuring 1 x 2 inches
Very Vanilla cardstock trimmed to 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches for the sentiment.

To make the card holder;

Score your cardstock on the long side at 1 3/4, 2 1/4, 4 3/4 & 5 1/4 inches.
Attach the DSP panel to the top front flap in the centre using Snail Adhesive.
Stamp the Very Vanilla strip with “HELLO” from the Crazy About You stampset in co-ordinating colours.  Attach to the bottom centre of the bottom flap (Snail again).

Score the 2×1 inch side panels on the long side at 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1 1/4 & 1 1/2 inches.  Concertina fold, and attach to the inside/bottom of the holder using Snail.

For the closure I used the 2nd Smallest Buttons from the Neutral Designer Buttons pack in Very Vanilla, adhered with Mini Glue Dots to the back.

This is also my first attempt at playing with my new photo backgrounds, and I really like them! 😀

Let me know what you think, speak to you soon!
