Mini card with Perfect Blend

I love making these little mini cards.  Great way to send a little note, and invite friends for coffee?

The best thing about 3×3 cards?  You can get 6 from a sheet of 12×12 inch cardstock… Plus, they’re cute!

To make these I cut a sheet of Whisper White 12×12 cardstock into 3x6inch pieces, then scored on the long side at 3 inches.

Ink the edges of the card base in Baked Brown Sugar ink.

Stamp the Perfect Blend stampset in Early Espresso ink onto Baked Brown Sugar cardstock twice.

Stamp the sentiment onto one of the cups.

Cut around both cup shapes, then cut one in half.

Using Mini Glue Dots, layer the two cup halves onto the card base, with the whole cup over the top (cover the gap!)

Now, do you fancy a coffee? I do!

Gorgeous Grunge Butterfly Mini Cards

Oh, I love these.  My favourite stamp set is quite easily Gorgeous Grunge, and I love the Butterfly punches 🙂 So I just had to combine the two to make this little 3×3 Mini Card!

I will definately be making some more. Probably in a few different colour combos… Should be fun!  But for now, I have this one…

To make it do the following…

1 – Cut Whisper White cardstock to 6×3 inches, and fold in half. (FYI You can get 8 of these babies from a single sheet of 12×12!)

2 – Round all 4 corners using the Project Life Corner Punch

3 – Using Smoky Slate ink stamp the biggest ‘splatter’ of the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

4 – Use Pumpkin Pie ink to stamp the middle ‘splatter’ over the top. I did this a few times, turning the stamp in different directions to create a ‘circle’.

5 – Stamp the thin stripes in Smoky Slate ink onto Bermuda Bay cardstock.  Punch an Elegant Butterfly, and 2 Bitty Butterflies, lift the wings, ink the edges, and glue to the card front using Mini Glue Dots.
