Timeless Elegance Romantic Card & Box

Timeless Elegance Romantic Card & Box

Well, it’s not everyday I go all romantic… but with this paper, how could I not?! It’s simply STUNNING!
So stunning, that I didn’t really want to cut it up…So to use it in it’s full glory I had to make it the focus of this card.

Trim the Timeless Elegance DSP to 5 1/4 inches square, and colour the roses in Cherry Cobbler ink using a sponge dauber.
Mount on a 5 1/2 inch square of Basic Black card with Snail Adhesive.
Tie a bow across the corner. I used some leftover Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen from the A/W 14 catalogue, which is unfortunately no longer available.
Mount on a 6×6 inch card blank in Cherry Cobbler using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I matched the layers on the inside of the card using Basic Black, and Very Vanilla in place of the DSP.

Now as for that adorable, teeny tiny box… I have had a tutorial for this Origami Box saved on Pinterest for months just waiting to give it a try.  I made it using a 6×6 piece of DSP, again from the Timeless Elegance series, and I think it turned out great! Perfect size for a piece of jewellery… Best bit? There’s no cutting, or gluing required! Just a pretty ribbon to keep it closed and finish it off!
